Our purpose is simple: to build the best gym in the world. Knowing that a gym is only as strong as the community that supports it, we are committed to providing world-class coaching, programming and customer service. It is our goal to take people from point A to point B – from where they are to where they want to go. We offer two programs: Karhu CrossFit and Karhu Method.

Mobility/Auxiliary and Skill work for weeks Aug 15-29 _______________________________________________________ Mobility/Aux Notes 3 Sets: • Glute Bridge with yoga block: keep tension on the block by squeezing throughout entire movement • L-Sit Single Arm KB Strict Press: Bring the KB to end range of motion, thumb to collar bone/ Keep the rib cage down at the top. • Hollow to Tuck: maintain lower back on the ground. September Athlete of the Month, @stefan.shilgalis!! Stefan is and has been a staple in our community for a very long time. He always shows up happy, never complains and is 100% always in a good mood. Congrats!! Q: How long have I been doing crossfit? A: I started during the summer of 2012 so it’s been 6 years! • Q: How did I get into it? A: My girlfriend at the time brought me to a garage gym she trained at in San Antonio. This couple would run workouts out of their garage and I ended up coaching at their first box. They still run a thriving box in San Antonio called Crossfit 925. • Q: What is my fav movement / workout? A: Snatch is my favorite movement. I haven’t PRd it in a couple years but I love the movement. Favorite workout is Nancy which is 5 rounds for time 400m run + 15 OHS at 95 lbs. Love that one. • • 📸: @ltevebaugh
